NIST FRVT is the most respected benchmark when it comes to evaluation of facial recognition algorithms for verification (1:1) and identification (1:N). The evaluation uses very large sets of facial imagery to measure the performance of face recognition algorithms developed in commercial and academic communities worldwide.
iBeta Level 1 and Level 2 Liveness check
Our VeriFace service offers both active and passive liveness check options that can be used depending on client requirements.
Liveness check uses deep neural networks to make sure that the onboarded person is real and not a spoof.
This technology cross-verifies the identity of an onboard person to prevent the switching of identities to pass the liveness check.
Passive liveness check has been tested by iBeta, which found it fully compliant with ISO 30107-3 Biometric Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) Standard Level 1 and Level 2.
